*In light of impending cuts to Community Radio, a percentage of Profits each will be donated to a different station each week.
Having spent the past two years deeply immersed in writing and recording, APES are finally ready to emerge from the depths with a distinctly developed sound and a long-awaited debut album, entitled “Stranger Than Strangers”, tucked under their collective arm. With tracks such “Pull the Trigger” and “Dimension” already having had high rotation spins on both triple j and the UK’s BBC Radio1, APES is the band to watch for any fans of rock past and present. While taking a departure from their first EP Helluva (2013), APES have added a sense of maturity to their songwriting. Offering fans a new dynamic to their sound they still retain the raw power that had them invited to play with bands like Royal Blood, The Darkness, Band of Skulls and Fidlar to name a few. The recording sessions now completed, APES have shifted their focus and ready to get back on the road and bring the fruits of their labour to the public. Looking to build upon their already palpable live reputation, APES promise to re-capture and engage the audience with good times all round and bring the energy of their new sound into the live forum.
Stranger Than Strangers is due for release in October 2016
