Seattle grunge originators Mudhoney return to Australia for a run of 2026 club shows, playing Castlemaine's Theatre Royal on this leg. Support comes from Californian trio Primitive Ring (In the Red Recordings), whose members have played in Ty Segall Band, Fuzz, GØGGS and Iggy Pop's band. Formed in 1988 out of the wreckage of Green River, Mudhoney remain one of the defining bands of the Sub Pop/grunge era, still touring on their raw, feedback-driven sound.
