Montreal's Patrick Watson returns to Australia for the first time in over a decade, touring eighth album Uh Oh (2025) — written after a vocal cord hemorrhage left him unable to sing for three months, so its songs are voiced by a rotating cast of guests including Martha Wainwright, MARO and Charlotte Cardin. The album earned a Juno nomination for adult alternative album of the year, and the Wainwright collaboration "House on Fire" was shortlisted for the 2026 Polaris Song Prize. The Northcote Theatre date is one of just three Australian shows, alongside Sydney and Brisbane.
