My final concert of the year and what a doozy! Easyfever was a true celebration of the legendary Aussie songs of The Easybeats and Steve Wright, performed by Australia’s rock'n'roll royalty: Chris Cheney (The Living End), Phil Jamieson (Grinspoon), Kram (Spiderbait), Tex Perkins (The Cruel Sea, The Beasts Of Burbon) & Tim Rogers (You Am I).
Easyfever band comprised of Jak Housden (The Whitlams, The Badloves), Ash Naylor (Even), Dario Bortolin (Baby Animals), Dave Hibbard (Joe Bonamassa) and Clayton Doley (Divinyls).
Too many highlights to mention! The closing number of everybody getting together to perform an epic rendition of Stevie Wright's Evie was total bliss.
Seeing Tim Rogers come out shadow boxing during the opening powerhouse guitar riffs of 'Black Eyed Bruiser' and perform that song with such great gutso. Ending with thumping the crap of the microphone stand and smashing it onto the stage. A rock'n'roll moment I won't forget for a long long time.
